Richmond IT Director Forum: The Real Challenges of Digital Transformation Today
In recent days, we participated for the first time in the Richmond IT Director Forum in Rimini. Beyond being a networking event, it was an important moment of reflection for us.
Since 2007, we have evolved our role with our clients: from technical partners to trusted companions capable of supporting and guiding companies throughout the entire digital value chain—from strategy to design, from software development to system integration, all the way to marketing.
Participating in this event allowed us to listen to those who, every day, bear the responsibility of making digital transformation truly work within complex organizations, especially during such a challenging historical moment as the present.
Sectors, business models, and priorities may change, but many of the questions that emerged during the meetings Cristian Galletti (CEO) and Manuele Menozzi (CTO) had with CIOs, CTOs, IT managers, and information systems managers were surprisingly similar:
how to reduce complexity without stifling innovation
how to integrate platforms, processes, and people in a sustainable way
how to build digital architectures capable of supporting growth, markets, channels, and user expectations
how to align strategic vision with operational reality.

For us, who believe in an approach where business, technology and experience must all fit within the same framework, it was a truly stimulating and valuable exchange. It reminded us that today it is no longer enough to “create a digital project for its own sake,” but rather it is important to build the conditions so that digital solutions are useful and sustainable, solutions that do not create friction but generate real value for the company, for internal teams, for the sales network, and for customers.
The event was also an opportunity to highlight a fundamental part of Webgriffe’s identity: our Software Development and System Integration Team.
This is the team that founded the company 19 years ago, which continues to grow, refine methodologies and skills, and which works every day on a goal as simple to state as it is difficult to achieve: making technology a concrete enabler of business.

We return from Rimini with new connections, fresh ideas, and the conviction that when strategy and technology truly align, digital projects become more robust, more sustainable, and far more valuable.
Thank you to Richmond Italia for the impeccable hospitality, and to everyone with whom we had the pleasure of engaging.
